Pet Licensing

We are unable to process pet licenses or license renewals in person. All pet licensing can be done either online, submitted via U.S. Mail, or placed in Ventura County Animal Services drop box located at the Camarillo Animal Shelter. Please visit vcas.us/licensing  for these options.

Patrons of City Hall will be required to wear masks when they enter the building and 

other social distancing measures will be put in place. 

No more than one appointment with a maximum of two visitors may enter City Hall 

for a scheduled appointment at one time. 

Gathering of visitors outside City Hall is not permitted at this time.

The Virtual Counter is here to serve as an online portal for all your permit needs. Currently, the City of Moorpark is observing social distancing standards and is not open to the general public. Community Development Department services are being provided via phone, email, limited hours above and in person by appointment. Staff is working to respond to all calls and emails as quickly as possible.

COVID-19  Zoning Clearance for Outdoor Dining

The City Manager has issued Executive Order 2020-05 authorizing restaurants to conduct outdoor dining, to promote social distancing, with the issuance of a Zoning Clearance. If a restaurant wishes to locate dining on a public sidewalk, an encroachment permit is also required. 

The fees for the COVID-19 Zoning Clearance for Outdoor Dining and Encroachment Permit are waived.
